Oxygen Concentrators:: The enormity of the COVID-19 crisis in India is far from comprehension. As India is waking up to the reality of the third wave of COVID-19 even as we struggle to cope up with the second. There is a huge shortage of the life saving oxygen. The current demand requires oxygen to over 7 lakh patients across India. Nuven is supplying free oxygen concentrators to the needy so that they can get critical life support till they find a hospital bed, get access to doctors, or recover completely. .
Hospital Charges: Medical treatments for COVID-19 are expensive and can exhaust the meagre savings of a large population that is just lives hand to mouth. There are millions of people who cannot afford the expenses to save precious life of their family member/s. Nuven is in a steadfast mission in supporting hospitalisation and health emergency services and expenditure for lifesaving medical care to those who need it most during this unprecedented pandemic situation and helping COVID-19 patients in need of convalescent plasma find and match with donors, quicker and more efficiently.
Vaccination: Nuven will work with various state governments in its vaccination drive to counsel slum dwellers for vaccination, provide assistance at vaccination counters and follow up post-vaccination as the civic body plans to massively scale up daily vaccination numbers. Nuven will set up held desks in vaccination centers to address queries of people and coordinate between vaccination officials and recipients. It will also begin awareness drives in slums to encourage them to get vaccinated using mobile vans.
Every rupee raised from the COVID-19 response will be used to serve the needy across the nation.
